The author is Robert Matzen, who specializes in Errol Flynn (he previously co-authored a book on Errol Flynn) and Carol Lombard (he worked on a bio and documentary of her).

Ooh, thanks for sharing this. Sounds like an interesting book. Amusingly enough, I just started reading Flynn's autobiography--My Wicked Wicked Ways--today. I've owned it for years, and I have no idea why I suddenly decided to read it!
Is Amelia Holiphant really Olivia de Havilland? Sounds right....He mentions being still married to Lili Damita during this time. it was also during this time that he made his eight movies with de Havilland. I bet it is her. There has to be reasons she has not delivered on her autobiography.
